Samo međusobnim uvažavanjem pobornika ova dva stava doći ćemo u situaciju da uštedimo mnogo korisnog vremena i umanjimo podjelu i razdor, koji se među muslimanima sve više povećavaju.

  • Prvi stvar postavljaju ovako: Mevlud (obilježavanje rođendana Poslanika, s.a.v.s.), nije prakticirao sam Poslanik, s.a.v.s., niti njegovi ashabi, niti generacija tabi’ina i tabi-tabi’ina. Prema tome, niko ne može kazati da to nije novotarija.

Konačno, je li prihvatljivo da prođe mjesec u kome je rođen Poslanik, s.a.v.s., a da se o tome više ne govori, naročito danas, kada se, znatno manje važni događaji, obavezno svake godine obilježavaju?  Prvi će reći da nije sporno govoriti o Poslaniku, s.a.v.s., održati tribine, predavanja i slično. Pa šta je onda sporno? Sporan je mevlud. Šta je u mevludu sporno?! Pogotovo kada imamo na umu činjenicu da su ashabi više puta upitali Poslanika, s.a.v.s., za neke običaje iz džahilijjeta, da li da ih nastave prakticirati, a on im odgovorio: “Ima li u tome harama? Ako nema hrama (širka) onda nastavite…”

Zato smatram svaku polemiku po ovom pitanju suvišnom. Mevlud je dio naše svakodnevnice koji će i dalje ostati to što jeste. Uvijek će biti i onih koj će ga osporavati i to treba tako prihvatiti i baviti se korisnijim stvarima, naročito danas kada su izazovi pred muslimanim cijelog svijeta, pa i nas u BiH, i više nego samo ogromni!
