Jedne prilike su ashabi sjedili sa Poslanikom, s.a.v.s., kada je rekao: “Sada će na ova vrata ući čovjek koji je stanovnik dženneta! “Tada se na vratima pojavio Sead b. Malik i ušao. Ashabi su ga pogledali i pozavidjeli mu. Zatim se sljedeći dan ponovilo isto i ponovo ušao Sead. Treći dan se ponovio isti prizor i ponovo ušao Sead, tako da nije ostalo nimalo sumnje da je on taj. Tada Abdullah b. Umer reče: “Ja neću odustati sve dok ne prenoćim kod ovog čovjeka i vidim šta on radi (pa je zaslužio takvu deredžu). Otišao sam kod njega nakon jacije namaza i pokucao mu na vrata. On mi tada reče: “Brate moj šta ti treba?” Ja mu rekoh: “Imam jednu potrebu.” “Hoćeš li da je riješimo ili ćeš ući?” -upita on. Ja sam ušao, a on mi dade jedan ogrtač u koji sam se zamotao i legao blizu njega da mogu vidjeti šta radi cijelu noć. On je zaspao, ali kad god bi se prevrnuo rekao bi: “Subhanallah, Allahu ekber, lailahe illallah, elhamdulillah!” Pred zoru je ustao, uzeo abdest, otišao u džamiju i klanjao 12 rekata, na svakom rekatu proučio jednu suru srednje veličine, nakon svaka dva rekata na sjedenju nakon šehadeta i salavata na Poslanika, s.a.v.s., proučio tri dove: “Rabbena atina fiddunja…, Gospodaru naš zaštiti nas od svega što nas tišti vezano za ovaj ili onaj svijet, mi te molimo za svako dobro, a Tebi se utječemo od svakog zla!” Ja sam smatrao da njegov namaz, učenje i dova nisu dovoljni (za takvu deredžu), pa sam rekao: “Možda ga je moje prisustvo spriječilo da radi ono što inače radi, pa sam odlučio da to ponovim i sljedeće noći. Uradio sam isto, ali se ponovilo potpuno isto, te sam to uradio još jedanput da budem siguran. Treće jutro nakon što smo klanjali za Poslanikom, s.a.v.s., te se ljudi razišli, ja mu rekoh: ”Eh brate moj, razlog zbog kojeg sm ja spavao kod tebe!?”  On reče: ”Da čujem.” “Ja sam došao kod tebe da vidim koliko ibadetiš da bih i ja povećao svoj ibadet. Međutim kada sam vidio kako ti to činiš to mi se učinilo malim, te sam pomislio da zbog mog prisustva te noći nisi ibadetio onako kako to inače činiš. Tako ti Velikog Allaha i islamskog morala kaži mi je li te moje prisustvo spriječilo da uradiš nešto što inače radiš?” On mi tada reče: “Tako mi Allaha nije!” Kada sam krenuo da izađem on me pozva i reče mi: “Ima još samo jedna moja navika. Svaku večer kada legnem da spavam ja zanoćim, a u svome srcu ne ostavim ništa loše niti prema jednom muslimanu.” Tada mu Ibn Umer reče: “To je to čime si postigao tu deredžu!”  (Hadis prenosi Imam Ahmed 3/166)

Muslimani danas, a naročito mi Bošnjaci, su u poziciji da kroz svoje postupke ožive ove praktične primjere iz života uzorite generacije sa Poslanikom, s.a.v.s., te na takav način prevaziđu mnoge nesuglasice, zamjerke i neprijateljstva koja su prepreka na putu ka njihovom istinskom ujedinjenju, što je preduslov Allahove, dž.š., pomoći.

Kurban-bajram je dan žrtve i uči nas da u životu moramo dosta toga žrtvovati u ime Allaha, kako bi nam svima bilo bolje. Ja koristim ovu priliku da obznanim svima vama da sam halalio svakom muslimanu koji mi je bilo šta nažao učinio.
